Food Safety and Hygiene
Your guests first impression of the restaurant will be the displayed Food Hygiene Rating Scheme (FHRS) sign. Many customers are now logging onto the scores on the door’s website and would likely avoid dining in a business with less that a basic 3.
The FHRS sticker must legally be displayed in Wales, but with the app you will not be able to hide a poor score.
This scheme is applicable for all food businesses large and small, from restaurants, pubs and cafes to coffee shops, hotels and local market stalls selling food
There are three pillars to effective food safety management
Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS)
